Delft, Royal House and ceramics
Coffee with cakes is awaiting you in one of the cosiest restaurants in the centre of Delft. Accompanied by a guide you will visit the New Church on the Market where the Royal Family Vault can be found. After lunch you will take a boat trip through the canals of Delft. A visit to centuries-old Royal Delft Ceramics factory and one hour to either climb the tower of the New Church with spectacular views over Delft, stroll through the streets and little alleyways of Delft or just lounge on a terrace in one of Delft’s many market squares.

The guide welcomes you in a restaurant with coffee and cake. During the city walk you will visit the Vermeer Delft Centre, where you learn anything about Vermeer. After a delicious lunch you will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Delft Ceramics factory with a guided tour.

The tour begins with coffee and cake. During the city walk you will visit the Vermeer Delft Centre, where you learn a lot of things about Vermeers life and way of working. After a delicious lunch you will leave by your own coach to The Hague to visit the Mauritshuis. Here you can admire various paintings by Vermeer, including ‘the girl with the pearl earring’, the painting featured in a novel by Tracy Chevalier and subsequently made into a major film production starring Colin Firth and Scarlet Johansson.

Delft and The Hague, cities of princes and kings
The guide welcomes you in a restaurant with coffee and cake. During the city walk you will visit the New Church after which you will have lunch. You will then make a tour along the palaces of The Hague with a break for a cup of tea or coffee. At the end you will receive a souvenir of The Hague and return to Delft.

Delft and the flower show at Keukenhof
First of all you will visit the most famous flower garden of the Netherlands: Keukenhof. A wide variety of spring flowers in wonderful colours will surely dazzle you. Afterwards you will have lunch in Delft and subsequently visit the New Church.

In the centre of The Hague you will have coffee and cakes. Then a short walk over the ‘Binnenhof’ the centre of the Dutch balance of power. By bus coach we will tour along the palaces of The Hague. Afterwards, lunch and a visit to the Mauritshuis or Madurodam, where the Netherlands is rebuilt in miniature! This trip includes a souvenir from The Hague too.

Rotterdam, sea port and modern architecture
The town centre of Rotterdam, the world’s largest sea port, was rebuilt after the devastating bombardments of the second world war. You will visit the 188m high ‘Euromast’, where you can enjoy refreshments and admire the fabulous skyline of Rotterdam and the surrounding towns and cities. Afterwards, you will visit a shipyard where you can see for yourself how the replica of the tall ship ‘de Delft’ is constructed. After lunch you will take a luxury boat trip with the ‘Spido’ on the canals and rivers of Rotterdam.

Zeeland and Rotterdam, water
friend and foe: We tour the ‘polders’ of South Holland over dams and dikes on our way to the island Neeltje Jans in Zeeland. With help of an educational video and an interesting exposition you will understand how the Deltaplan, the protection works for the south-west of the Netherlands, was engineered. On arrival you can enjoy a cup of coffee and original cakes from Zeeland. You will then be given a tour in the storm tide protection dam with a local guide. Following lunch you will leave for Rotterdam. There you will visit the extensive ports of Rotterdam on a comfortable ship with on-board bar.

Amsterdam/Zaanse Schans, world city en museum village
Coffee and cake and a walk along the industrial area of the 18th century. You will then have a traditional pancake lunch. Afterwards you will drive to Amsterdam for a visit to the treasure chamber. At the ‘Rijksmuseum’ a professional guide will give you a tour. You will end this day by making a beautiful boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam.
